Exploration of bali part 2

Wina Holiday Villa in Kuta is our base for Bali exploration. The explorer kids team thinks the hotel was not that strategic as its located in a street that wasnt  near to the shops but the beach  was about 5 minutes walk. the hotel staff was not too friendly to explorer kids team, not anywhere near as nice as holiday villa in diwangkara. but the hotel has pools just nice for explorer kids which is its plus point. After breakfast the explorer kids first day itenary is to explore the artistic value of Bali. our guide pak komang was ready at 930. Our first destination is the ubud kintamani route which is a must for first timers in bali. our mission is to find work of arts to bring back to malaysia.

at the turkish restoran for lunch in ubud. owner is turkish. but service was slow take them 1.5 hours to get our meal. but the food was nice. the explorer kids to to eat pizza but everyone pass the tomatoes to pa and ma. quite expensive for bali rate.

the ubud kintamani trip was a nice adventure for the explorer kids team. we ended the day with a soto ayam pak sudi. atika was looking was the mee in the soto ayam but there is too little me. apparently the people in bali eat soto with rice like a soup. no nasi impit or mee. nafisa eat a lot too as always. papa has to order 2 bowl coz the portion was small. want to know how the 2nd day of exploring bali turn out come again to explorer kids blog .. the travel blog for the kids out there with passion for exploration

The Bali land of culture adventure

On April 16-19 2011 is when the adventure starts for the exploration of Bali. this is the 2nd exploration of Bali by explorer atika and the 1st exploration for explorer nafisa. we are joined by three other explorers , a 1st timer for Bali too, Zarith, Nabil and Firas. Exploration of such number of people requires planning of almost 7 months by their trusted Pa. The exploration does not start good at first coz   our flight a MAS flight was overbooked due to MAS inefficiency so we are as if forced to take a flight via Changi airport. Lucky for us Changi is a heavens for kid explorers as their facilities are top notch. No kid explorer will die of boredom.

The airport have all the things that a tired explorer kids would need gaming centre ( the large and 3d version kind), movies with big screen, playground for big kids and small kids, changing rooms are everywhere they even have a family room version, activies for kids explorer drawing, painting etc and you can even borrow their stroller for tired feet. shopping for the kid explorer is endless you have all you need here. our exploration team were very excited. we left changi via sq flight to bali after 2.5 hours of exploring changi airport.

In the sq flight  firas was singin all the way . the rest of the team are asleep tired after exploring changi. explorer nafisa gives a tip that during take-off and landing make sure take your milk that eases the ear pain. sitting near the enginee is like hummings of beautiful song that makes us fall asleep. pa and never worries as they know all airline will attend to kid explorers as best as possible.  in the sq flight all explorer kids  team member were given plush toys not like the cheapskate MAS.

we arrive in Bali land at around 7. it is dark by then. but the immigration in Bali is smooth the team really appreciates it. they are very efficient. after getting our luggage with explorer atika lugging her newly bought barbie luggage bag we met up with  pak komang our local guide is right on time with his smile.. this is after the usual process of cleaning up ( you know what i mean) of  the team at the airport toilet.
